There’s More To Be Said

Wild Game DynastyConservation & Wildlife Management, Friends of ELO, Hunting News & Updates

As the legendary musician, Dave Matthews says…. “So much to say, so much to say, so much to SAY!”  So does Gary Morgan have a lot to say, or at least his blog, newsletter, and podcast do.  These voices have come from many sources over the years, from outdoor writers, some who are members of the Michigan Outdoor Writers Association (MOWA), to some who just enjoy writing as a hobby or happen to have a natural gift or interest in related topics.  Of course, there are many with the gift of gab or have a very interesting story to tell as evidenced through various podcasts Gary has shared on his website.
Some might wonder how so much can be said about the great outdoors.  The answer would be quite obvious to those with this passion, likely describing this field as possessing endless possibilities.  Over the past 5 years, WGD has had the privilege to share 330 plus articles on their blog from 13 plus writers, and 140 podcasts. Much of this loyal audience have hunted with Gary at some point.  One thing for certain is nature has a way of providing inspiration.
Recently, Gary was chosen for an award from MOWA for his podcast #134 with Jerry Everhardt.  Jerry retired from a high-level government job in Washington DC and in retirement spends much of his spare time chasing Whitetail Deer in Ohio and Michigan.  He loves the outdoors and inspiring others by sharing his expertise.  In this podcast he shares principals learned during his professional career that he has applied to his deer hunting, which has brought him much success.
After all the time and effort Gary has put forth to promote the great outdoors, he says it feels good to be recognized.  He’s grateful to his many guests, contributors, and followers who fuel the fire.  It seems like there’s always a new dimension to explore in the hunting, fishing, and trapping realm, sports that are as old as time.  And fresh eyes on the glories of nature also provide an interesting addition to this content.
