Wild Game DynastyConservation & Wildlife Management, Friends of ELO, Hunting Stories & Adventures

About ten years ago I decided to take Wild Game Dynasty on a journey to explore the world of Podcasting.  The beginnings were certainly exploratory…at least from a technical point of view.  I have been blessed to converse with so many interesting and knowledgeable people as a result of this adventure.  With nearly 250 episodes from such a variety of hunting, fishing & outdoor enthusiasts…much was learned and new friendships were established.  Over the past year, I have taken what might be described as a bit of a sabbatical from podcasting.  After much thought, I’ve decided to pick up where we left off, but take it to the next level based on feedback.  So back by popular demand, but with a fresh new face, in the hands of another generation of outdoor enthusiasts, I’d like to introduce to you our dynamic duo who has agreed to host our WGD Podcast.  Meet Nicole & Ryan Foguth!

Nicole is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran who traded the Colorado mountains of her childhood for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where she now lives with her husband Ryan and their family. The two met while she was serving at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and their shared life has transformed her into a passionate hunter and outdoorswoman. Though she didn’t grow up in the hunting world, Nicole now embraces every season in the field, drawn to the self-reliance and connection that comes from providing wild game for her family’s table. She brings this perspective to the Wild Game Dynasty Podcast, which she co-hosts with Ryan.

Ryan is a Michigander born and raised. He grew up in Grayling fly fishing on the Ausable River and competed in the Ausable River Canoe marathon before joining the U.S. Coast Guard. Ryan served 11 years Active Duty, returning home on leave for every rifle season he could to chase white tails and trap beaver. Ryan now resides in Baraga where he and his wife Nicole are raising their 4 year old son Raylan, hunting, fishing, and trapping in the Upper Peninsula’s pristine wilderness. Ryan and Nicole are also the hosts of the Wild Game Dynasty Podcasts.
