If you’ve ever been to a WGD hunting camp, you may be familiar with the name Ross Chambers, affectionately known as Palley.  Though a highly skilled guide, Ross is also known for providing comedic relief in camp from time to time. The cost of admission to his show?  It will cost you a highball! But perhaps most entertaining is the legend of Ross himself, as he and his antics become the stuff of lore!  Countless stories have been shared over the years, so many in fact, that we’ve decided to feature a weekly column for a time dedicated to Palley.

Introducing “The Chamber of Flashbacks,” a soon to be an Anthology  of “You can’t make this sh*t up” …real life comedy inspired by our Palley. 

What does this have to do with an outfitting business, you might ask? Real hunting is not quite like the programs on TV. There are sometimes seasons where the most excitement may come from someone like Ross versus what actually happens in the woods. Between good food and the improv of Palley, do not be dismayed. You’ll still go home with a trove of memories, even if it doesn’t include an impressive mount. 

Make plans next Saturday morning to sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy our first Chamber Flashback… “Swoosh!”
