By now, if you’ve been following our Chamber of Flashbacks, you might wonder how it is that Ross has made it this far? This final Ross feature is a tribute to his lovely wife, Holly. We consider her to be practically a saint for all she’s endured, thus our title track, Holly Holy. (Neil Diamond fan here.)
Throughout his career and even in retirement, Ross marches to the beat of his own drum. This means that he fills his time how he chooses and is very much an individual thinker. Sometimes with “genius,” it’s difficult for others to really understand what’s going on beneath the surface. Holly has exemplified extreme patience during their 54 years of marriage. If I, Becky, could offer Holly some off the record advice, I would suggest she buy his clothes at the Salvation Army, or similar. (My own mother learned this early on in my parent’s long standing marriage and it served them well!)
For as much as we want to honor Holly in this closing article, we would, however, be remiss if we did not acknowledge the good sport that Ross has been by allowing us to share the many Chambers Flashbacks. The only person who might be more of a good sport than Ross would be his wife.
We’d like to thank Holly for her understanding when it comes to Ross’s shenanigans. He has provided much material, for which we are grateful. And if we’re being completely honest, he has helped Wild Game Dynasty immensely over the years… And in the spirit of fun! (At least in hindsight.) So raise your cup to Ross & Holly! May there be many more stories to come.
